My window or door has broken glass, can you fix it?

In almost all scenarios, we are able to repair or replace your broken glass. We encourage you to call our office today to find the best solution, but here are some typical repair options:

1) Bring the window, storm, or door to us. This is the most cost effective and quickest way to get your window or door repaired. If the unit is single paned, it’s almost always something we can repair in our shop in a few days. If your unit is insulated, also known as double paned, double glazed, triple paned, triple glazed, or thermal, we will likely need to order it from a fabricator. In this scenario it usually takes about two to three weeks for the new glass to arrive, and then we can simply swap it out in our shop and send you on your way.

2) Call our office today to set up a free in-home estimate for repair.

What is the cost?

The costs on repairing windows and doors vary greatly, and some cannot be repaired at all. It’s best to reach out to us, send us a picture, and or have our team come by for a free estimate to give you the most accurate answer.

How long will it take?

Repairs in the summer for certain will take more time than repairs in the winter. Both our vendors and ourselves experience longer lead times in the summer for a variety of reasons, but specifically because more people are doing home renovations and repairs when the weather here in the Berkshires is good. You probably don’t want your window out for three weeks over the winter when it’s 10* out, right? All your neighbors and community members feel the same way!

My screen ripped! Can you help?

We sure can! Bring it to our shop for a speedy and cost effective repair that takes a day or two. Have a whole screened porch that needs repair? Give us a call and we can have our crew come by for a free estimate to repair.

My screen is missing, can you get us a new one?

Yes! Ours are a little different than what you are probably familiar with, so it’s a great idea to swing by our shop and take a peak at what we have to offer. We can help you evaluate if our screen is a good fit for you.

Do you do glass tabletops?

We sure do! We offer a variety of choices for your tabletop - including tempered glass for any exterior table and standard plate glass for interior. Size matters! We will suggest the best option for you once you give us an approximate size and location.

I need a whole new window!

At this time, we do not provide new windows for residential customers. Why? Because we have an incredible network of window replacement contacts that we are happy to put you in touch with. We know what we are good at, and we stick with it.

My shower door glass broke! What do I do?

Give us a call today for us to send our crew by to evaluate your situation. In some scenarios, the glass can simply be replaced. In other scenarios, it makes more sense to explore other options.

I am renovating a house and need to put the cheapest shower in available. Can you help?

While we certainly have a range of cost effective and glass options available for shower glass and doors, one item we do not compromise on is safety. We do not compete with Home Depot, Amazon, or online vendors. Our showers have glass of a minimum thickness and are first and foremost built with hardware and glass to last. Our fabricators have been in business for 50 + years and we’ve been working with them for that long. Many of those options are cheaper, yes, but when push comes to shove and you need a replacement piece, will you be able to get them on the phone? Probably not. We have lost out on projects in the past because we haven’t been the cheapest, and then when a standard size unit is installed into a custom opening, we get calls to come out and “fix” what someone else did.
