Catamount Mountain Resort, 2019
It all began with a desire.
In 2018, the Schaefer family purchased Catamount Ski Resort with a planned initial investment of over $5 million dollars, with the goal of building a new multipurpose lodge, renovating an on-site lodge, adding trails and installing a new triple ski lift. Their commitment was deep, immediately hiring local contractor BETNR to begin working 12 hour days blasting trails and then working straight through the winter. The hard work paid off, with an overall investment exceeding $15 million dollars, with additional trails cut including three new double diamond trails, making this mountain have the steepest trails south of Killington.
Martino Glass provided the curtainwall and glass and glazing on this project as well as the entrance doors and vestibules.
